If you were wondering why there has been a decided absence in posts this past week, it is because I've been on vacation at the beach in Maine. I had every intention of blogging while away. Really, every intention...but obviously intentions don't always translate into action. I could easily blame the lack of posts on the inconsistency of internet--to access (what must have been the neighbors) wi-fi one had to sit in certain chair, tilt the laptop slightly to the left and hope that the service didn't suddenly drop out--but the truth is that I just preferred spending my days down on the beach than plopped (albeit, awkwardly in the "certain chair") in front of my computer.
Maine is after all "Vacationland," so there's no use trying to do work while in the very place that epitomizes summer vacation--at least that's what I told myself. And, honestly, I'm happy I did. I'm just sorry if I left some of you hanging.
While I was enjoying the beach, my mother (the better half of Bumblebee & Sophie), creativity in full swing, was creating two more beautiful dresses. And she began work on our Fall Collection, which you will get a preview of later this week!
Here's a look at what I was up to this past week:
Sarah's Maine Vacation:
One of the "perks" of rising early with Sophia: a gorgeous, Atlantic sunrise.
Sophia with her Daddy (my husband, Mark) walking down the beach.

Here's a look at she was up to this past week:
"Charlotte" Sundress in a cute blue and green dot with green ric-rac detail in the pleat and on the bodice.
"Savannah" Sundress in lime green leaf print with contrasting peek-a-boo pleat in chocolate brown forest print.
These dresses are available at our Etsy Shop.
