A Few New Things

This week I made a few more burp cloth sets for various things, one of which is the auction at Childlight, the Montessori school where my sister, Rachel is a teacher. The beautiful striped and paisley ones are going to Childlight. The other set of light pinks and the striking black and white Kimono print are headed to Etsy!
(By the way. I think I need a new camera...mine won't focus anymore! Argh!)

a few beautiful things

I had two custom orders this past week for burp cloth sets. The fabric choices were great and came together beautifully. 

As you can see it is a beautiful, clear day here in New England...it is, however, only eight degrees outside. Warmer weather is right around the corner...we hope.

Celebrate the Harvest...of Burp Cloths

When I told my husband we were doing a series of blog posts with the theme and title: "Celebrating the Harvest' he asked "What are you celebrating a harvest of burp cloths?" While that wasn't my intention originally, my plan was to include harvest crafts and recipes and things like that, I realized this week that with the latest batch of burp cloths I made, it is a bit of a "harvest" so why not celebrate that by showing you some pictures!

This One is for the Boys

Last week I picked up a selection of more "masculine" fabrics: a mix of Heather Bailey, Amy Butler and Art Gallery Fabrics in some great blue, green, red and orange hues--perfect for baby boys. I spent this week putting together the burp cloths and matching pacifier lanyards. Here are the results:
